Data and Insights Analyst

Personal summary

I am an experienced insights analyst - 4 years of experience - looking for freelance data science and analytics work. My previous role was a permanent position at an agency, working with Fortune 500 companies. I am now branching out to try a different type of working. The flexibility and diversity of freelance work really appeals to me. As well as 3+ years of experience doing data analysis and market research I am able to code (Python), query data (SQL) and visualise (Power BI/DAX). I use git/GitHub for version control. As such my specialist is in Data Analytics, however I am very open to coding/data science projects. Data science projects include: - EDA of customer loan payments in order to assess potential loss to the company. - Creating a Hangman game using OOP - Producing an interactive report in Power BI, visualising the performance of a medium sized company’s stores and products. During my time in my previous role I worked in large multi-market, multi-wave projects (up to 16 markets in a project) as well as small pro-bono projects. I have been an integral part of larger, multi-level teams as well as lead smaller projects end to end. In the process of working on these smaller projects I have also mentored more junior members of the team. Clients of particular interest to me work in FS, tech, public affairs and FMCG.
