Task description and requirements

For our client (payment and transaction service provider) we are looking for candidates with a strong background in certification processes, particularly in PCI PTS HSM evaluation.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluation Support: Assist the team in evaluating the HSM against PCI PTS HSM
certification requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Documentation Creation: Collaborate with team members to create and maintain
documentation required for PCI PTS HSM.
- Technical Guidance: Provide insights and guidance on best practices for achieving
and maintaining PCI PTS HSM certification.
- Embedded Programming Support: Utilize your understanding of embedded
programming and C to assist in the evaluation process and documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
to ensure all documentation meets certification requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively address challenges related to evaluation and
compliance, leveraging your expertise in various certification schemes.

Essential Qualities:
- Education: Specialist in computer science or a related field.
- Certification Knowledge: Strong understanding of the PCI PTS HSM certification
scheme, with experience in evaluating against its requirements. Familiarity with FIPS
140 and Common Criteria certification processes is a plus.
- Embedded Programming Skills: Solid understanding of embedded programming
concepts and proficiency in C programming.
- Documentation Skills: Proven experience in creating and maintaining technical
documentation.
- Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Analytical Aptitude: Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset capable of finding creative solutions.

Further experience with the certifications described is a must. This means:
- Certification Experience: Proven experience in evaluating against PCI PTS HSM
certification requirements is essential.
- Additional Certification Knowledge: Familiarity with FIPS 140 and Common
Criteria certification processes is advantageous.
- Embedded Programming Knowledge: Understanding of embedded programming
concepts and proficiency in C programming is necessary.
- Payment Standards Knowledge: Good knowledge of payment standards and
protocols, particularly those relevant to PCI compliance.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
