Task description and requirements

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect (AWS) for a long-term project. The primary responsibility is to support the Edge team in modernizing and migrating existing systems to the cloud while also providing consulting and governance expertise. The role focuses on shaping cloud frameworks, refining cloud strategy, and ensuring best practices.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize cloud frameworks to enhance the overall cloud strategy
• Provide consulting and guidance to the Edge team on migrating and modernizing applications in AWS
• Ensure governance and compliance with cloud best practices
• Support the scalability and efficiency improvement of cloud-based solutions
• Analyze existing cloud infrastructures and identify areas for optimization
• Collaborate with various teams to facilitate a smooth cloud transformation

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect with a strong focus on AWS
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture, strategy, and governance
• Hands-on experience with modernizing and migrating applications to the cloud
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and scalability
• Proven experience in consulting and working with cross-functional teams

Project Details:
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
• Workload: 3 days per week
• Location: 100% Remote
• Language: English
