Task description and requirements
Your tasks:
• Product development of multiple large and complex containerized solutions projects (Projects can be customer projects, design order projects, sales projects or NTI / NPI)
• Design and develop mechanical systems, components and products like cooling water pumps, mounting technology for engines, frames for engines and accessories, mounting assemblies
• Conduct research to solve engineering problems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Create technical documentation for designs and processes
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs
Your Qualifications:
• Project experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the reciprocating engine and/or containerized product solution industries
• Profound knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g. Catiav5, Plant 3D)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good understanding of system integration; ability to derive product, system, and subsystem requirements from customer specifications
• Ability to present key information and engage in business-led discussions with management
