Task description and requirements

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are currently seeking a System Administrator (m/f/d) for one of our clients.

Below is a brief overview of the project:

Start date: Immediately
Duration: 3 months + option for extension
Location: Remote
Workload: Full-time

Tasks:
• System administration of Windows Servers and Debian Linux Servers, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at the OS and application levels (including scripting).
• Administration of hardware and virtual machines via management interfaces (iDRAC, iLO, vSphere).
• Management of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• Administration of Tomcat-based applications.
• Configuration and installation support for CAD software on Windows systems, including writing and debugging CAD macros.
• Development of scripts (Bash, PowerShell) for automating administrative tasks.
• 2nd and 3rd level customer support.

Required Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Debian Linux environments.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, PowerShell) for system and application management.
• Experience with hardware/VM administration tools (iDRAC, iLO, vSphere).
• Strong expertise in managing web servers (Apache, Nginx) and databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• Familiarity with Tomcat-based application administration.
• Experience in CAD software configuration, installation, and macro development.
• Proven track record in 2nd/3rd level technical customer support.
