Task description and requirements

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Expert to support our client. The expert should have a strong background in Power BI and a passion for driving process improvements.

Tasks:
• Dataset Creation: Build comprehensive regional datasets using provided SQL connections
• Dashboard Development: Design and implement regional dashboards based on draft layouts provided by the company
• Data Modeling: Ensure accurate data modeling to build effective datasets from SQL databases
• Visual Reporting: Create fresh and modern visualizations, graphs, and reports that provide actionable insights
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and insights to the regional Business Intelligence team as needed for report maintenance
• Data Validation: Ensure dashboard accuracy and alignment with business requirements

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with strong skills in creating, updating, and modifying reports and dashboards
• A creative approach to data visualization and storytelling through dashboards
• Expertise in data modeling and the ability to build effective datasets from SQL databases
• Business know-how to understand and represent facts and figures from a business perspective
• Certification in data visualization standards (e.g., IBCS or similar) is a plus

Project Details:
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3+ months (total of 120 hours)
• Utilization: 3–5 days per week
• Location: 100% remote
• Language: English
