Task description and requirements

Role : SAP Senior Consultant with SAP PM and SAP Fiori
Project Duration : 4 years – December 2024 to December 2028
Industry : Logistics/Transportation/Railways
Location : 100% Remote

Skills:
Practical experience in connection with maintenance & further development of SAP maintenance applications (SAP PM module)
Very good knowledge desirable: PM data model, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, CDS views, OData, SAP Fiori
Practical experience with micro-services from the company d7 Consulting from the SAP Maintenance environment
Project experience in the maintenance of fixed infrastructure, transport & logistics sector
Practical experience in connection with the maintenance & further development of SAP Fiori solutions (UI5)

Responsibilities:
• Collection and qualification of technical and business requirements of the client in the area of maintenance under SAP with a focus on mobile solutions (Fiori UI5); the skills PM data model, CDS views, OData, SAP Fiori, ABAP/OO, as well as knowledge of tools and platformers (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori Launchpad, CI/CD via Git, Visual Studio) are essential.
• Evaluation of the current technological infrastructure under SAP (fixed maintenance area) and submission of recommendations for improvements. As microservices from d7 are used in the legacy applications, the corresponding expertise is also required;
• Evaluation and recommendation of new technology solutions (hardware and software in the area of stationary maintenance under SAP, in particular SAP Fiori UI5);
• Analysing and designing software applications in compliance with the client's requirements and specifications;
• Participation in the planning and design of software projects;
• Testing software applications to ensure that they fulfil specified quality standards;
• Maintenance of existing applications, in particular error analysis of existing applications. As microservices from d7 are used in the existing applications, the corresponding expertise is also required.
• Co-operate with project managers, designers and other developers to ensure timely and successful completion of projects according to client specifications;
• Participate in relevant technical meetings and provide regular updates to project managers and other members of the project team;
• Preparation of training material in co-operation with relevant responsible business units of the client so that new solutions can be effectively implemented by client personnel.

• As part of the migration of all systems to S/4 Hana, activities in the new S/4 Hana technology environment will also be necessary, including technical support for the migration of existing systems to S/4 Hana.
