Job Specification: IT Systems Developer (Maconomy)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Day Rate: £450-£470 per day
Location: Oxford (Hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview:
Our client is in the process of implementing a new Maconomy system and is seeking an experienced IT Systems Developer to join on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on API integration and supporting the system's implementation through to its go-live date in January. Following the go-live, the contractor will continue working on business-as-usual (BAU) processes and assist with training and upskilling a permanent employee who will take over after the system is live.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the implementation of the new Maconomy system with a focus on API integration.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure the system is ready for the January go-live.
* Support business-as-usual (BAU) operations after the system goes live.
* Provide training and upskilling to a permanent employee who will take over post-implementation.
* Work with SQL databases and troubleshoot any system issues as needed.
Essential Skills:
* Experience in Maconomy systems and API integration.
* Strong technical expertise with SQL databases.
* Ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.
* Previous experience in IT system implementations.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in training or mentoring team members on new systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Salesforce experience is a plus.
Contract Details:
* Initial 6-month contract with potential extension depending on project needs.
* Day rate: £450-£470, depending on experience.
* Hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of remote and on-site work in Oxford.
