Position: Finance & Systems Transformation - D365

Location: Bath

Contract: 18 Month FTC

Start: Immediately





We are currently recruiting for a Finance Systems Analysts & Senior Finance System Analysts to join an innovative team. This role plays a critical part in assisting with a global finance transformation initiative, focusing on migrating multiple entities from older finance systems to Dynamics 365 (D365). Additionally, you will provide ongoing support to the sites that have transitioned to this new system.



Key Responsibilities:



D365 Implementation:

* Assist in managing the configuration and resolving any issues related to the rollout of D365.
* Participate in testing, setting up, and deploying new system features to existing sites, as well as the complete configuration of new locations.
* Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during the implementation process.



Data Migration:

* Collaborate with IT and other teams to plan and execute the migration of financial data.
* Ensure accurate mapping of legacy data to the new system, and validate the criteria for data extraction and transformation.
* Oversee the reconciliation process, ensuring all data matches between the old and new systems and any discrepancies are resolved before the new system goes live.



Ongoing System Support:

* Manage and maintain various finance systems, including D365, Concur, and SharePoint.
* Handle system administration tasks, such as updating master data, managing foreign exchange rates, and overseeing the year-end rollover process.
* Customise system templates and ensure that any system changes are governed appropriately.



Essential Skills:

* Strong background in finance systems, particularly with experience in D365.
* A keen interest in system maintenance and optimisation.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact across various levels of the organisation.



Desirable Skills:

* Experience in system administration, data migration, and configuration.
* Partially or fully qualified accountant.
* Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform and strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel and Power BI.
