Task description and requirements
Your responsibilities:
Implementation of active competency management (including qualification retention, adaptation and development qualification) and organization of knowledge management to
promote the transfer of know-how
Convincing and supporting employees to strengthen action and result orientation and to ensure the flow of information and the
quality of communication internally and externally
Responsible body, among other things, for:
• Vacation, replacement, capacity and deployment planning
• Staff requirements, investment and cost planning
• Implementation of salary reviews or developments in cooperation with HR
• Implementation of target agreements
• Transfer processes
• Staff selection in cooperation with HR
• Certificate assessments
• Occupational health and safety or health management
• Occupational health and safety training and integration of new employees into the organization
Resource planning, prioritization and responsibility (e.g. personnel, investments, costs) for the tasks to be processed in the department, taking into account the Departmental goals
Responsibility for achieving the departmental goals and increasing departmental efficiency and quality. Participation in the strategic orientation of the company division. Identification, analysis, recommendation and implementation of current trends and optimization potential (e.g. technical, organizational, professional)
Derivation of business management parameters for the logistics processes
Active supplier and escalation management
Analysis, further development and optimization of the logistics organization, structures and processes at the site from a holistic perspective
Contact person at the site for all questions relating to the logistics processes
Budget and cost responsibility
Your Profile:
• Several years of management experience
• Successfully completed degree in business administration or industrial engineering or comparable academic qualification (e.g. Master)
• Management experience in a comparable role
• High level of commitment and strong initiative
• High level of cost awareness and result orientation
• Many years (> 8 years) of adequate and well-founded professional experience in the global logistics environment, automotive industry desirable
• Very good user knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Confident personality with strong communication and social skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes
• Entrepreneurial thinking and action
• Goal-oriented and independent way of working as well as assertiveness
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Business fluent English and German skills (spoken and written)
