Personal summary

I have been considering a career in writing for as long as I can remember, but I always felt like perhaps i wouldn't be "good enough" as i don't have a literature degree or formal training from a fancy school, so i never went any further with the idea. 3 years ago i decided i wanted to be self-employed and started an online business, firstly dropshipping on Etsy and Shopify, i had success, and with the spare profits, i decided to try my hand at building Affiliate websites for resale on Flippa. This was a long process where i learned from scratch from youtube and other online sources. All in all i created 5 websites which all sold in the following niches watches, cheesecake recipes, winches, gun safety, arts and crafts. I performed the technical aspects and did the research, created content briefs for writers that i hired from multiple places at different price points. I soon noticed at lower price points the work i was given was very poor and i would spend all my team fixing them. This made me realize i was already better than many of the people working as freelance writers, at the lower end at the very least. This has given me the confidence to begin my own career as a writer. During that time i learned about SEO and the overall bigger picture of building blogs and the do's and don'ts. I would use ahrefs or keywords everywhere for keyword research then use fraze.io to create content briefs and optimize the finished article, i also used surfer SEO for a brief period to improve content. I have a wide range of hobbies and interests but my main area of expertise are: Etsy dropshipping Shopify eCommerce/sales/marketing Health and fitness/bodybuilding - i am a qualified personal trainer Travel Animals - dogs in particular Gaming and movies Mental health-relationships-self-improvement I do also love learning about completely new topics
