Personal summary
A retired professor, registered town planner in China. After having finished PhD (2006, UoP)+ Post Doc(2009 UCL) in the UK, I worked in "211" university for 22 years as head of town planning department, a deputy director in town and country planning administive bureau and a local city planning institution for 12years. I worked also as an international officer during teaching in university and successfully built up collaboration for Cardiff University, Plymouth University with Hefei University of Technology and SooChow University. I supervised more than 80 post-graduate students on learning and graduation successfully. I organized and finished many plan-making, building design and research projects with many achieved awards at national, provincial and local levels. I also published about ten academic books(two in English) and more than 80 papers on SCI, CSSCI or key professional academic journals in China. In short, based on my experiences and resources, I think I have capability in working on the following things for you. 1. To work for international cooperation of British and Chinese universities . I successfully built up such collaboration for Cardiff University, Plymouth University with Chinese "211" universities many years ago. 2. To work as a part-time university lecturer on town and country planning system(theory and practice), or heritage conservation planning in China, or simple building design. 3. To work as a part-time tutor for Chinese students studying in the UK. 4. To help British schools or relevant institutions to recruit Chinese students or workers. 5. To provide instructions on finding the right university for those British people who want to study in China. 6. To work for a British institution who needs to start some educational business in China. 7.To work as an academic Journal reviewer(I am a Reviewer of journals such as "City Planning Review" (2009--) Member of Editorial Board of Journal "China City Planning Review (English Edition)" (2012--)) 8. To provide consultation and bilateral connection for those British planners, or teachers who want to work in relevant institutions in China. 9. To work on-line or on site as a translator (English-Chinese).
