Personal summary
I am a 24-year old freelance sports journalist from Ireland with a long-lasting passion for sport. Football is my expertise in the sports industry, but I also cover GAA, MMA and boxing. My experience in journalism began in 2020, when I started working as a live-text commentator for Tribe, who still work for. I then moved to my local newspaper, The People Paper, to cover football and GAA matches. In London, I am currently writing for sportsgazette.co.uk , vavel.com and londonfootballscene.co.uk, but also freelancing for Hayters TV. I have also recently interviewed James Pearce of The Athletic, Philip Quinton, a professional footballer in the MLS, Thomas O'Connor of Wrexham A.F.C. and Brentford head coach Thomas Frank during a press conference. Reporting on sport has taught me the importance of research, accuracy, meeting deadlines, interview skills and making contacts.
