Hello and welcome to my profile, as you will see I am a highly experienced tester with over 20 years of experience and a dedication to quality. I have tested across various types of platforms including Mainframe, thin client, middleware, websites, mobile apps, and desktop applications in various industries such as Government, Entertainment, Financial, Legal, and Hospitality. I have both managed and tested with teams engaged in functional, system integration, regression, manual, automated, post implementation, user acceptance, smoke, NFT, black & white box projects and I have experience in managing teams of sizes 1 -> 13, and up to 3 teams simultaneously. System wise, I have tested and managed teams involving CRMs, CMSs, ERPs, DBs; B2B, direct to CD, MQs, Monoliths, and Microservices. I have written JCL, SQL, XML, JQL, UML, Json, and EDI and coded in Java, Javascript, MS office macros (~Visual Basic) and REXX. I have worked with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, Spotify tribes & squads), waterfall, and OO methodologies. For the testing tools themselves, I am proficient in using QC, Jira, including add-ons such as Zephyr and Atlassian Test Management for test case and defect management, and progress reporting. Whilst I have not personally performed L&P and Security testing, I have organised and overseen those projects to successful outcomes. I am now seeking a challenging and interesting position in Europe (remote) where I can leverage my extensive experience in testing and managing complex application deliveries to ensure high-quality software solutions.
