The Payroll Protection Program offers forgivable loans. You submit your application for this loan through your bank. The Small Business Administration has relaxed some of the guidelines so that more of the loan can be used for business expenses other than payroll costs (salary, wages, commission, state or local payroll taxes) such as rent, mortgage interest, and utilities for 2.5 months and must be paid during the twenty-four (24) week period following the date of the funding of the loan. All payroll and other required financial information are based on your 2019 tax return. Webinar times are posted on the SBA website.
