Personal summary

As a passionate and culturally diverse creative professional, I am dedicated to exploring the intersection of art and culture, fostering understanding and communication across different fields. I majored in Interior Design in Shanghai and participated in a one-month exchange program at an independent studio in Tokyo, where I worked on fashion runways, museum exhibitions, and creative installations. Collaborating with fashion students on a COACH project, I designed a handbag inspired by shadow puppetry, which received widespread recognition. However, after four years of study and practice, I realized my design skills were not yet strong enough to establish myself as an independent artist. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Creative and Cultural Industries Management at the University of Sheffield, where I aimed to enhance my expertise in managing cultural and artistic fields. Throughout my studies, I explored diverse artistic expressions, from classical literature and paintings to contemporary arts like stage design, film, and street fashion. Excelling in art history, I developed strong analytical and communication skills, particularly in promoting niche or non-mainstream artists to a broader audience. My strength in cross-cultural communication and collaboration allows me to bridge different creative perspectives effectively. Additionally, I have experience managing social media accounts, crafting engaging promotional content, and utilizing basic graphic design skills to support art promotion visually. My love for travel has deepened my curiosity and respect for different cultures, reinforcing my commitment to a career in the arts and humanities.
