Hi, I'm Vergel Emmanuel Mata. I’ve spent the last three years working in various roles in the online space. I started as a Digital Marketing Specialist, where I got my first taste of the digital world. After that, I worked for about two years as a Personalized Internet Assessor, which involved a lot of data scraping and online content evaluation. Most recently, I transitioned into an Accounts Receivable Specialist role, which has given me valuable experience in financial management. I’m a self-taught QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper and a certified ProAdvisor. Although I didn’t start my career in accounting, I decided to make a shift last year because I’ve always had a strong interest in numbers and finance. Since then, I’ve been studying bookkeeping and the fundamentals of accounting. I’ve gained a solid understanding of double-entry accounting, the accrual method, journal entries, financial statements, and reconciliation. My experience with QuickBooks Online has also allowed me to manage accounts effectively and keep financial records accurate. While my background is diverse, I believe that my varied experiences and dedication to learning have given me a unique perspective and skill set in bookkeeping. I’m really looking forward to applying these skills and continuing to grow in this field.
