Personal summary

I was a freelancer for 14 years before joining Siemens in 2002. Initially working on site as an engineer progressing to Agent and section Engineer at Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station. Reinforced Concrete and complex problems were my strength at the time. Motivating workforces to double and sometimes triple there output. When I first moved as a freelance engineer to Siemens in 1989 it was an opportunity of a lifetime. Building Power Stations allowed me to experience most areas of Civil and Building Construction. Contributing Civil Quality assurance processes which are still in use today. In 2002 When I joined Siemens as an employee, of course I took a significant pay cut, but greater opportunities opened up as a Civil Site Manager and later Construction Manager and General Site Manager. Motivating and driving projects to successful completion within budget and on time more often than not ahead of time but ALWAYS with an Eye on health and Safety. Where I gained NEEBOSH 1,2,and 3 Certification. I function well independently as can be seen with initial start ups of projects being first on the ground. To working in teams heading them usually multicultural as many as 60 different nationalities. Cross discipline cooperation was always positive as most understood the common goal. Dealing within contractual issues was a matter of course and was dealt with as the issues arose. However a great deal of time was expended early on to mitigate potential issues. I have been involved in 2 very significant arbitrations over the years and defended them successfully with no surprises. My proudest achievement was in 2018 when as general Site Manager, Civil Site Manager and Construction Manager Completed a 4-8 GW CCGT Power Station in the Eastern desert 100Km from Cairo. No water for 18 Months. The project was to be completed within 38 Months and in fact was completed in 26 months. This was wholly down to good cooperation between the all parties involved. 22Million Manhours without an LTA, Quality of the work was very good to excellent, and all parties made a profit. Most importantly the Client was very happy with the end result. Today am looking contribute
