Over 9 years of extensive experience in Software Automation and Manual Testing including design and development of various Software Test Automation Frameworks for back end (API and Web Services) and front end (User Interface) using the latest Technologies. Comprehensive knowledge of validating Restful and SOAP Services, Web Applications, Standalone applications and Data Bases using latest versions of software testing frameworks and tools like Apache Http Client, Rest Assured, Selenium WebDriver, Test NG, JDBC, Postman, Advanced REST Client, SOAP UI. Expertise in designing API and UI Automation scripts as well as improving the reliability of existing scripts in Java with an exposure to Python for evaluation of RESTFUL microservices and Web Application Features. Extensive experience in Functional, Integration, End to End, Sanity, Smoke, Regression and ad-hoc testing at every stage in software development life cycle. Well versed with software test case design techniques to ensure comprehensive test case coverage. Knowledgeable in executing and debugging Test Automation scripts, manual test cases and reporting bugs\defects by adhering to the defined standards. Working experience in Agile based environment with an understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies. Well versed with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development) software development process. Very well experienced with the onsite-offshore execution model. Experience using Atlassian JIRA, Zephyr and HP QC for project and test management activities. Hands on experience on Source code version control tools Git, SVN and TFS.
