Personal summary

My experience as a Bid Manager for IBM Australia and New Zealand and Solution Contract Manager for IBM Philippines, Inc. involved pre-sales and proposal preparation and contract management respectively. I validate contracts for client submission and make sure that all approvals are in place and then make sure that the delivery phase runs smoothly. I also handle revenue recognition processes for cross-brand deals (combination of Hardware, Software and Services deals), each of these lines of businesses has its own revenue recognition processes and I work closely with Finance Analysts and Accounting to make sure these are booked in the ledger. I am also familiar with Project Management processes (was trained in Project Management for Non-PMs), I facilitate meetings to take the proposal from the drawing board to the client's desk.Post-sales, I make sure that all contracts are consolidated and reconciled, all PCCs (Project Completion Certificates) are on hand and delivered on schedule. As a sole resource in the Philippines, with my counterparts in the AP region, I work independently and with minor to little supervision. The core competencies and the responsibilities expected of me as a Virtual Assistant are quite similar to what I did for my previous roles. I have worked with sales representatives, pricers and Project Managers from IBM Canada, Australia and New Zealand and this experience has given me considerable access and view of the wide array of transactions and processes (from the pipeline to contract preparation to delivery to billing, even) to bring to fruition complex deals and contracts.
