Personal summary
In my previous roles as well as managing a service and delivering at a high level I was also tasked with the Business continuity and Disaster Recovery process for the account. This involved high level strategic planning across multiple suppliers (in one case in excess of 50) across a multi tiered hierarchy including the cabinet office. This process covered all eventualities including that of force majeure which unfortunately we had to implement due to Covid. This was deemed a complete success by not only internal management but also the client who actively acknowledged that they had seen no interruption in service. As an SM I also dealt regularly with incident managers and the escalation of incidents to a Major Incident Manager, I believe I worked effectively spanning the bridge between all involved MIM and the business to effectively communicate a clear and precise path forward and to also feedback concise positions on where the business was in resolving the incidents.
