Personal summary

I have been in the creative field since more than 14 years and have been working for different domains in Design from the past 8 years and have always brought something to the table whenever given the opportunity. I have experienced creating designs in residential and commercial sectors; working on sustainable living amidst the design philosophy of Auroville; working in fast paced modular MNCs like IKEA; managing the team of Innovation design in the R&D department; training young designers on what is design thinking and how to achieve it in our day-to-day life alongside functionality. With a background in interior design, I have recently found a profound passion for UI/UX design and am currently undertaking a comprehensive course from Google to further hone my skills in this dynamic field. My transition from interior design to digital design stems from recognizing the common thread of fundamental design principles that underpin both domains. Having acquired a solid foundation in design elements during my tenure in interior design, I am confident in seamlessly applying these principles to the digital realm. Further to that, I'm diving into UI/UX fundamentals and software like Figma, Sketch, etc. to keep up with the latest trends and tools in this ever-evolving field. I'm genuinely stoked about blending my existing design skills with the exciting challenges and learning experiences that come with combining these too. It's like best of both worlds, and I can't wait to bring that energy to every single project.
