Personal summary
I am an international student studying for a Master’s Degree in business. I started out my business career as an entrepreneur setting up a Savings and Credit society business which had over 980 subscribers and a turnover of £62,000 and we sold it for £50,000 in my first year of offering services, it has since gone on to become a thriving microfinance bank. I/We sold the business following a shift in our personal goals and I moved into Investment banking, where I joined one of the most pragmatic stock broking teams, Horizon stockbrokers limited, that helped sell one of the most successful Commercial banking Initial Public offering (IPO), in a bid to expand my overview, I got another offer, as a marketing agent for one of the largest banks in Nigeria. Taking what I had learnt, and the connections I had made, running a successful credit society and working in an investment bank, utilising my entrepreneurial acumen and experience as an investment banker to effectively achieve set targets. Whilst working for the bank, i set my focus on my next role in brokerage. I was part of the team instrumental in managing more than £20 million of client monies at Skyview Capital Limited. I am currently available for work, and as an international student limited in the number of working hours. I believe that with my work experience to date, it has equipped me with a piece of valuable knowledge and skills to remain successful in a customer-facing environment. I would like to reiterate the following aspects of my experience, which is detailed in my CV, and believe this would add value to your business. Detailed knowledge of operational systems, the importance of compliance requirements, and client relationship management system developed through my education and in various work experiences to date. All of which has equipped me with the ability to manage sales and effectively develop campaign strategy to drive volume business. Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills developed through working on several team-based projects through education, series of workshops and work experiences to date. I have demonstrated this regularly at seminars, web meetings, group meetings, one to one basis with clients and colleagues at all levels. I have a very strong desire to build a career in a client centric role. I am particularly interested in furthering my career with a recognisable brand locally and internationally.
