• I have a thorough background in industrial automation covering both hardware and software having seen many projects through from design to site commissioning in automotive, materials handling, airport, warehouse conveyors, assembly, test & measurement, chemical, petrochemical, printing, paper, tobacco, pharmaceutical, glass, food, water, wastewater, power generation and process industries including hands-on software development and debugging. • Developed PLC, HMI, SCADA, LabVIEW and associated PC software working as a general member of other project teams and am familiar with controlled collaborative development environments. • Familiar with upgrade projects working alongside customer production schedules. • Familiar with working within CDM environments. • Experienced in IEC 61131, EN 60204-1, EN 418, BS EN ISO 13850 and ISA-88 (‘S88’) standards and their application. • Gained extensive experience of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and Data Acquisition products from Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, Schneider, National Instruments, Wonderware and Yaskawa. • Worked with PC-based machine control using in-house DTI-ATT software ‘CAPAC’ linked to standard I/O systems from the recognised industrial manufacturers. • Associate of the IET, formerly the IEE. • Member of IPSE, formerly the Professional Contractors Group (PCG). • Holder of ECITB CCNSG Safety Passport, expiry January 2026. • Holder of National Instruments LabVIEW 2017/2018 Professional Development Licence including NXG 1 & NXG 2
