Personal summary
A highly motivated researcher possessing a strong academic background in Material Science and Engineering with a specific interest in the research and development of process and material models and simulations relating to advanced metallic processing, particularly for automotive and aerospace applications. My research expertise is in the field of developing integrated multi-scale, multi-physics computational approaches to understand the material behaviour and microstructural evolution during thermomechanical processing and incremental forming processes. Experienced as a modelling theme leader leading a team compromising knowledge exchange fellow/associate, research associates and process modellers, working on the development of modelling solutions that facilitate the development of "right-first-time" solutions for high-value component manufacture. As a lead researcher within many high budget projects in collaboration with leading aerospace industries . My vast technical skill-set and theoretical knowledge are coupled with strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills, enabling me to drive progress within such projects and support other fellows accordingly.
